Our principal and staff
Welcome from our principal
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Darlington Public School.
At Darlington, we pride ourselves on being a small, close-knit school community where students, families, and staff feel a deep sense of belonging. Our school provides a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that values and respects the rich diversity of our families and celebrates the unique qualities each child brings.
We are committed to fostering excellence in teaching and learning, where high expectations are supported by creativity, curiosity, resilience, and strong emotional intelligence. Our vision is to empower every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, and to grow into confident, compassionate global citizens.
Beyond strong academic foundations, our students are offered a wealth of opportunities in sport, science, technology, and the creative and performing arts. Guided by a clear vision for learning, we encourage our students to embrace imagination, collaboration, reflection, and persistence—skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.
At Darlington, we work in close partnership with families, the local community, and professional networks to create a vibrant, respectful, and dynamic learning environment. Together, we nurture each child’s sense of well-being and individuality, equipping them with the confidence, empathy, and integrity needed to contribute meaningfully to the world.
I warmly invite you to be part of our school community, where every child is known, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.
