Chess club
Our school runs a chess club for students to help students develop their growing minds while having fun in a supervised envrionment.
The aim of the chess club is to offer students with some existing knowledge of chess an opportunity to play different opponents and develop and practise their skills in a supervised environment.
Thanks to the overwhelming expressions of interest from parents and students, the school was able to engage the specialised children's coaching organisation Sydney Academy of Chess to run the programme.
Running time and costs
The chess club runs for an hour on Thursday mornings in the library.
